Position Overview:
An established and respected law firm in the Southeast is seeking a Trademark Litigation Associate to join their Intellectual Property team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in trademark litigation before federal district courts and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). This is a great opportunity for an IP attorney looking to take the next step in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage trademark litigation cases through all phases, including discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.
Represent clients in TTAB proceedings.
Support enforcement strategies for trademark portfolios.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to advise clients on IP‑related matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in trademark litigation.
Experience with federal district court proceedings and TTAB practice required.
Eligibility for admission to the North Carolina Bar(preferred).Strong academic credentials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in an AM Law 200 firm is highly preferred.
