If you are passionate about supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges, join us as a Behavioral Health Technician. In this role, you will work closely with medical professionals to implement treatment plans and provide compassionate care for patients in various settings.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out individual treatment plans prescribed by psychiatrists or other medical professionals. Monitor patients' behaviors and record observations accurately for progress tracking. Provide emotional support to patients while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for their recovery. Diffuse potentially dangerous situations by using crisis intervention techniques when necessary. Assist patients with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, or dressing as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs.
Work Environment: The role is based in hospitals, group homes, or mental health facilities where technicians work closely with patients requiring behavioral health support. This position requires compassion, acute observation skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
