Job Description:
Lead is seeking an experienced Blaster Painter to provide surface treatment and protective coating applications on marine vessels. This individual will play a critical role in the preservation and maintenance of ship integrity, ensuring expert surface preparation, and the application of coatings that meet stringent marine standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, grinding, and sandblasting. Mix, match, and apply paints and other coatings to various ship surfaces. Utilize spray guns, rollers, or brushes to achieve the desired finish. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations regarding paint and coating application. Inspect and maintain painting equipment and ensure that all tasks meet quality standards. Required Education, Experience, &
Skills:
Experience with blasting and painting in a marine or industrial environment. Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and application techniques. Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and regulations for handling hazardous materials. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.
Experience Required:
Candidates should have a robust background in surface preparation and paint application, ideally with experience in the maritime or related industrial sectors. Experience 2 - 5
