About the role
Light & Dwell is seeking an experienced Designer to lead residential projects from concept through installation. This is a remote position supporting projects from coast to coast, working closely with our Creative Director, clients, build teams, and Design Associates.
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple full-service and concept-design projects Develop concepts, layouts, selections, elevations, and presentations Lead client presentations and project meetings Manage schedules, deliverables, budgets, and next steps Coordinate with builders, architects, vendors, trades, and procurement Direct and review Design Associate work Travel to project sites as needed Qualifications 4+ years of residential interior design experience Strong design judgment and alignment with the Light & Dwell aesthetic Experience leading projects and communicating directly with clients Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment Strong follow-through, collaborative and proactive skillset. A confident, personable communicator who builds trust with clients, colleagues, and project partners Advanced proficiency in drawing and presentation software AutoCAD and/or Revit with a strong ability to produce detailed build documentation
