We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated PRN Physical Therapy Aide to join our rehabilitation team.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Aide supports Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in providing high-quality patient care. This role assists with patient preparation, treatment area maintenance, equipment setup, and administrative tasks to help ensure an efficient and positive therapy experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist therapists in preparing patients for treatment sessions.
Set up, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Escort patients to and from treatment areas as needed.
Monitor supplies and assist with inventory management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized rehabilitation environment.
Perform clerical duties, including scheduling assistance, filing, and documentation support.
Follow all hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention standards.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
Assist with patient flow and departmental operations as directed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.
Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or physical therapy setting.
Interest in physical therapy, athletic training, kinesiology, exercise science, or related healthcare fields.
