The Role:
Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor, the CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items: Maintain production rates according to established standards. Notify Supervisor with any problems of procedures or equipment. Performs set-ups and operate CNC Lathe Machine Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. Job Specific Competencies:
Capable of using a micrometer, calipers, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints Skilled on an overhead crane Can read and Edit "G" Code Programming
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 3 years experience operating CNC lathes
Physical Requirements:
