Marine Electrician / Marine Electrical Technician Last Minute Marine is hiring a technician with hands-on marine electrical experience to service and refit boats throughout South Florida. This is a field position working aboard vessels at marinas and shipyards. Our work includes troubleshooting and repairing 12V/24V DC and 120V/240V AC systems; battery banks, chargers, inverters, and shore power; AC/DC panels and vessel wiring; generators, windlasses, and thrusters; and marine electronics and networked systems such as NMEA 2000 and CZone. Projects range from finding an intermittent fault to completing a major electrical refit. We're looking for someone who: Has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, or installing electrical systems on boats Can read wiring diagrams, use a multimeter, and trace faults methodically Produces clean, labeled, reliable wiring and pays attention to safety Can work independently on familiar tasks and collaborate with a team on larger projects Communicates clearly and documents the work performed Experience with marine electronics, lithium battery systems, NMEA 2000, CZone, Empir Bus, or ABYC practices is valuable. You'll work on a variety of vessels and systems, with opportunities to expand your skills. Flexible scheduling may be available based on project needs.
