The successful candidate will be a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for the ongoing support, enhancement, and roadmap of the core business application portfolio. This includes a range of systems that support commercial and business operations. The role demands a player-coach who can build best practices for scale, ensure quality, and drive towards a zero-incident support model. Key responsibilities include platform ownership and delivery, leading a team of business and technical experts, and partnering with various business leaders to align the application roadmap with business strategy. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership role, and a strong background in enterprise application management, particularly in the commercial systems of the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in ERP, CRM, and related platforms, as well as a proven track record in building high-performing teams and managing outsourced partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in ITIL-based support models, DevOps practices, and a strong focus on operational excellence. Financial stewardship, organizational change management, and experience with AI/ML and automation in IT operations are also highly valued.
