Job Description: POSITION: NW Material CoordinatorQUALIFICATIONS:Able to operate office equipment. Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others. Good communication skills (verbal & written).Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions. Commitment to Management System and Continuous Improvement process.
PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following: All employees have the responsibility to identify and stop further processing of non-conformances and take action to prevent non-conformances related to products produced, processes, services provided or the Quality/Environmental Management System. All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions. Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures. Enter vendor purchase orders. Ship vendor purchase orders. Ship material to outside converters for processing. Order services from outside converters. Ship material converted at outside converters. Enter import purchase orders. Enter drop shipments with vendors. Process manual billings. Issue inventory record adjustments. Issue debit/credit memos. Request new product numbers and FOB’s. Maintain inventory/check cost comparisons. Maintain & update vendor quotes. Maintain & update Fiberweb open order report. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
