About the role
Seeking a full-time OSP Designer in Vermont, this role focuses on supporting large-scale telecommunications projects by designing cost-efficient fiber and copper network routes, conducting site visits, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Complete site visits and analyze network systems to develop efficient network route designs
Collaborate with internal GIS and CAD teams to produce documentation for application packages
Review project deliverables for accuracy and manage engineering quality and compliance with design specifications Required qualifications 3+ years of OSP Design engineering experience
1+ years of experience performing QC review on OSP Design packages
Proficient in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, OCalc, or similar GIS platforms
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field preferred
Sound knowledge of fiber optic and copper networks, including splicing schematics
