The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is a top ranked medical school located in the vibrant and beautiful major metro area and coastal resort community of Tampa, Florida. In addition to being a world class research university and medical school, USF provides world class clinical care in Neurology and across all medical disciplines in close partnership with its primary academic affiliate, Tampa General Hospital, also a top ranked institution, through the USF Tampa General Physicians Group This position is within the Department of Neurology, Neuromuscular Division, and is an academically oriented Neurologist role. The incumbent will provide comprehensive neurological medical care and health counseling to patients with neuromuscular conditions. The position will also provide opportunities to participate in health education and outreach activities, and providing health consultative services. In addition, the faculty member will contribute to the Department's academic mission through the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and Neuromuscular fellows. The successful candidate will be expected to support the clinical, educational, and academic missions of the Neuromuscular Division and the Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida.
