We are seeking a Business Advisor who thrives in strategic business conversations and serves as a trusted consultant to executive leaders. This role focuses on helping organizations evaluate technology through the lens of business outcomes, operational performance, AI adoption, cybersecurity, workflow efficiency, and long-term technology strategy.
The Opportunity
As a Business Advisor, you will work directly with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, IT leaders, and department managers to identify opportunities for business improvement and technology modernization.
You will guide organizations through initiatives related to:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy & Adoption
AI Readiness & Data Governance
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Workflow & Process Automation
Digital Transformation Initiatives
Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace Strategies
Information Management & Business Process Optimization
Managed IT & Technology Roadmap Planning
Your objective is to help clients answer critical business questions:
How prepared are we to safely adopt AI?
Is our data secure and properly governed?
What manual processes can be automated?
Where are we losing efficiency?
What technology investments generate the greatest business impact?
How can technology support our growth strategy?
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Consulting
Conduct executive-level discovery discussions focused on business goals, operational challenges, and technology strategy.
Assess organizational readiness for AI adoption, automation, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation.
Identify process inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, security risks, and areas for improvement.
Facilitate strategic conversations that align technology initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Position CBS as a trusted business advisor and long-term strategic partner.
Business Development & Relationship Management
Develop and manage a territory of existing and prospective clients.
Build relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision makers.
Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and account development.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of business consulting engagements and technology initiatives.
Manage opportunities through a disciplined sales process using CRM tools and activity management.
Solution Strategy & Collaboration
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop tailored recommendations and technology roadmaps.
Present executive business cases, assessments, and strategic recommendations.
Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful client outcomes and long-term account growth.
Maintain accurate activity, opportunity, and account documentation.
Compensation & Benefits
First-Year Compensation: On-Target Earnings (OTE): $95,000 - $120,000+
