Role Description:
The Corporate Travel Agent is responsible for managing end-to-end business travel arrangements for corporate clients in an on-site role located in the United States. This full-time position involves booking air, hotel, and car rentals, handling changes and cancellations, and ensuring travel policies and budgets are followed. The role includes providing professional customer service, advising travelers on best routing and fare options, and resolving travel-related issues promptly and accurately. The Corporate Travel Agent will also liaise with suppliers, maintain accurate reservation records, and use ATG’s technology platforms to optimize the traveler experience and support client service standards.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including booking and modifying corporate itineraries. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and traveler support. Candidates should possess experience with hotels, flights, car rental and related ground transportation coordination in a corporate travel context. Candidates should possess Sabre skills. Prior experience as a corporate or agency travel agent, including familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or similar), is highly beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, certifications in travel or tourism, or corporate travel experience are a plus.
