About the role

Position SummaryautoLOTO is seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer / After Effects Artist to create engaging training, product, and compliance-related video content. This role will be responsible for developing high-quality motion graphics, editing screen-capture demonstrations, animating existing character assets, and maintaining complex After Effects projects that support autoLOTO's training and educational initiatives. The ideal candidate is not simply an animator, but a technical motion designer who can build scalable animation systems, manage large multi-composition projects, and efficiently create polished content that aligns with established visual standards. Success in this role requires advanced Adobe After Effects expertise, strong Illustrator skills, and the ability to translate scripts and voiceovers into compelling visual experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Design & Video Production: Create high-quality motion graphics, animated training videos, product demonstrations, and educational content. Develop and maintain complex After Effects projects containing multiple linked compositions, reusable assets, and scalable animation systems. Animate scenes using both 2D and 3D workflows within Adobe After Effects. Build and animate realistic device demonstrations, including laptop, tablet, and mobile screen presentations. Integrate screen-capture footage into animated device environments while maintaining continuity and visual accuracy. Edit and trim screen-recorded content directly within After Effects to create smooth, natural demonstrations. Synchronize visual pacing and animation timing precisely to voiceover narration and script requirements. Ensure all deliverables meet company brand guidelines and visual standards.
Illustration & Asset Development: Create and modify Illustrator-based assets optimized for animation workflows. Extend and maintain autoLOTO's existing visual style, character library, environments, and training content assets. Prepare layered vector artwork for efficient import and animation within After Effects. Collaborate on the development of reusable visual assets that improve production efficiency.
Animation Systems & Rigging: Design and implement expression-driven animation rigs. Build reusable null-driven control systems that allow efficient updates across multiple projects. Develop scalable animation setups that reduce repetitive manual animation work. Troubleshoot and repair broken expressions, parenting structures, and project dependencies resulting from revisions and updates.
Project Management & Quality Control: Maintain organized project structures, naming conventions, and asset libraries. Manage version control and project backups for shared production files. Optimize project performance through effective use of proxies, pre-compositions, and asset management techniques. Ensure edits and revisions do not negatively impact dependent compositions or downstream content. Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining production quality.
Collaboration: Work from scripts, voiceovers, creative briefs, and visual annotations to independently develop motion content. Participate in creative reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently. Translate non-technical feedback into effective animation, timing, and design solutions. Maintain project organization standards that allow files to be reviewed, revised, or maintained by other team members.
Requirements: Adobe After Effects: advanced comp architecture, 3D workflows, screen integration, voiceover-driven packing, rendering optimization. Expressions & Rigging: property linking, null controls, time remapping, reusable rigs, troubleshooting. Adobe Illustrator: animation-ready vector artwork and style consistency. Editorial Skills: screen-capture editing and instructional storytelling. Experience with Adobe Character Animator, Saas product demos, instructional design content, and training-related animation projects is preferred.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
