About the role
- Provide 15-minute therapeutic chair massage sessions tailored to patient needs
- Work under the direction of a Chiropractor to support treatment plans
- Focus on soft tissue work including neck, shoulders, back, and upper body
- Maintain accurate and timely session notes in patient records
- Ensure a clean, safe, and professional workspace at all times
- Educate patients on muscle tension, posture, and self-care techniques
- Communicate effectively with the chiropractic team regarding patient progress
- Adhere to all clinical and HIPAA compliance standards
- Active Massage Therapy License (state-required)
- Certification in chair massage or experience preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy, muscle groups, and therapeutic techniques
- Ability to perform short, focused sessions efficiently
- Comfortable working in a medical/chiropractic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a steady flow of patients throughout shifts
- Experience in chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical settings
- Familiarity with conditions such as sciatica, muscle tension and spasms, postural imbalances, and work-related strain injuries
- Flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time options). Clinic-based setting with steady patient flow. Sessions are typically 15 minutes per patient.
