Foundation Personnel, a specialist recruitment partner to the geotechnical and foundations sector, is working with one of North America’s leading foundation specialist contractors to appoint a talented Project Manager.
Role Description:
This is an opportunity for a technically proficient Project Manager to support/run preconstruction and delivery efforts for geotechnical construction projects throughout the state of Texas.
Key responsibilities include:
Develops project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion. Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Responsible for negotiation of the contract and understanding the contract requirements. Responsible for submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling. Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability. Ensures compliance with all OSHA safety requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in geotechnical with knowledge of deep foundations, or specialty construction Strong understanding of geotechnical systems (i.e., drilled shafts, auger-cast, deep soil mixing, shoring, ground improvement)Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents What's On Offer Competitive base salary plus a lucrative performance-based incentive compensation Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Opportunity to work on high-profile, complex projects in a strong regional market Clear growth path within a leading geotechnical contractor
