We are establishing a new Ultrasound R&D team in the Seattle area. As part of our global team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented and dedicated colleagues while developing and expanding your career.The Clinical Scientist (Ultrasound) works closely with our global, cross-functional teams that include Clinical Science, Product Management, and R&D. This position could be opened at multiple levels depending upon years of experience in relation to posted requirements. In this role, the Clinical Scientist is instrumental in supporting all clinical activities for R&D, product evaluation, marketing, new product introduction, and product feedback in the US and with our global Headquarters. Successful candidates will demonstrate the characteristics of authenticity and integrity that are needed to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers.In different program milestones, your key responsibilities include:Define, develop, and drive internal and external clinical evaluation plans for new productsSupport Ultrasound R&D, drive and participate in clinical research collaborations with KOLsConduct Voice-of-Customer (VOC) research to collect customer needs in North America and EuropeContribute to and advise on clinical aspects of marketing execution for marketing collaterals, presentation content, etc. Co-work with KOLs on clinical testimonialsManage the clinical aspects of national shows, reference sites, and the site visit process (Seattle site and national show sites)Provide and create clinical content for Ultrasound product marketing to support adoption and integration of key-product messaging and clinical claims into marketing materialsWork with NPI teams globally to ensure successful planning and execution of clinical marketing trainingDemonstrate Ultrasound capabilities at industry trade shows, HQ Customer Center, and during sales callsActively participate in all site visits for system demonstration and resolution for clinical-related topicsParticipate in customer engagements, focus groups, user groups, medical advisory boards and other market-related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of clinical market needs and requirementTo be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:Bachelor's degree or higher in related scientific or clinical discipline; or relevant equivalent work experience5+ years medical imaging research or clinical experienceExperience in training end users is preferredStrong presentation skills and development skills with excellent ability to synthesize and explain complex issuesExcellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to quickly build relationships with internal and external team and customersAbility to travel domestically & internationally (up to 25%)Experience in product management/marketing is preferredCreative, flexible and well-organizedTeam oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated Passion for ChangeUnited Imaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
