Maintenance Technician Taneytown, MD Pay: $20.00 per hour - OT pay over 40 hrs and weekends Job Type: Full-time (on-site) with permanent opportunity - Dayshift Our client is hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician to support continuous operations in a biosecure agricultural environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with strict biosecurity standards.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair mechanical systems (HVAC, water, feed, sewer)
Perform facility and grounds maintenance
Follow biosecurity protocols and SOPsAssist with equipment cleaning, feed delivery, and general operations
Participate in on-call rotation for alarms

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience in maintenance, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred
Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain records

Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Willing to work weekends/on-call as needed
Comfortable in physically demanding, agricultural environments

Physically able to pass Pulmonary Function Test, Respirator Fit Test and Physical Pre-Placement Test. ACA compliant Health Insurance available, Retention bonus, Holiday pay
