About the role
Federal Contracts & Pricing ManagerThe Federal Contracts & Pricing Manager is responsible for supporting clients in the full lifecycle of federal contracting. This includes prime contract administration, strategic proposal development, subcontract management, and ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements. This role requires close communication with our clients, internal subject matter experts, subcontractors and external contracting parties, and government customers to deliver compliant contract and pricing solutions.Job DutiesManages full lifecycle contract administration for federal clients including proposal development, negotiations, execution, performance, modifications, and contract closeoutReviews solicitations and proposals for compliance risks; supports development of budget models, cost narratives, business volumes, and representations and certificationsInterprets and applies the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), agency-specific regulations, unique terms and conditions, and performance requirements to effectively negotiate execution of awards and ensure compliance across federally funded projectsManages subcontractor compliance including onboarding, agreement execution, flowdowns, price reasonableness exercises, and performance monitoringLeads development and tracking of small business subcontracting plans and reportingDevelops and completes compliant contract files, performance trackers, report templates, and other documentation to maintain and track deliverables, modification triggers, required reporting / disclosures, and overall compliance with awardsReviews and develops client policies and procedures, tools, templates, and other internal controls related to contract administration, procurement, accounting, human resources, and other functional areas to ensure they meet the requirements of the client's federal portfolioAids in firm development activities and other marketing initiatives including but not limited to attending trade shows, networking, developing internal and external practice development opportunities and identifying cross servicing opportunitiesPrepares thought leadership such as articles or presentations for webinars and conferencesOther duties as requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides engagement and workload supervisionSchedules, develops, and trains staffReviews and evaluates work prepared by staff and SeniorsTrains associates and interns on how to use current software tools and consulting methodologyProvides verbal and written performance feedback to staffQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEducationBachelor's degree, required; with a focus in business, finance, or law, preferredExperienceSix (6) or more years of federal contracting experience, requiredExperience with FAR, DFARS, CAS and/or other federal contracting regulations, requiredExperience working with unique award types such as General Service Administration (GSA) Schedules, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), and other non-FAR based awards, preferredLicense(s)/Certification(s)CFCM or CPCM, preferredSoftwareProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, requiredIcertis implementation or user knowledge, preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writingStrong analytical and basic research skillsSolid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on detailsAbility to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environmentAbility to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Business Systems and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)Ability to follow and apply specific rules and regulationsProactive and able to work with limited supervisionIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.National Range: $110,000 - $155,000 Maryland Range: $110,000 - $155,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $110,000 - $155,000
