About the role
Job Description:
The Assistant Tennis Coach will support players across youth, beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels in a tennis academy setting. Reporting to the Head Tennis Coach and Tennis Director, this role will assist with training, player development, skill evaluation, and competition support, including on-court coaching.
Responsibilities:
Assist with practices for players across mixed skill levels. Support player development through structured coaching and training. Provide clear instruction during drills and practice sessions. Assess player skills and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with the coaching team to support academy programs. Deliver constructive performance feedback to players. Provide on-court coaching during competitions.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of tennis coaching experience. Safe Sport certification. First Aid and CPR certification. Knowledge of tennis technique and practice planning. Experience with player evaluation and athletic performance training. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
