About the role

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews and pre employment requirements, including physicals and drug screenings. Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations and prepare orientation materials and benefits packets. Review employment applications and maintain accurate personnel records. Respond to routine employee questions regarding company policies and procedures. Partner with managers on employee counseling and attendance related documentation. Generate and distribute routine HR reports, including absences, vacation, and employment activity. Maintain accurate HRIS data within the PLEX ERP system and personnel files. Process unemployment claims as needed. Create and manage job postings through Paycor. Coordinate company sponsored employee events and activities. Perform general HR administrative and clerical duties and assist with special projects as needed. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE3–5 years of HR Assistant or HR Generalist experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or another regulated industry. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, and EEO.Experience with security compliance requirements; ITAR experience is a plus. Experience working with ERP or HRIS systems. PLEX experience preferred. Paycor experience is a plus. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
