About the role

The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Facilities Manager regarding maintenance duties along with machine maintenance. This position requires the ability to multitask and be self-motivated while in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work. See something say something.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Day to day maintenance work on equipment· Machine set up· Machine change overs· Perform assigned preventative maintenance· Other duties as assigned by supervisorREQUIRED SKILLS· Electrical & Mechanical experience required· The ability to work well with your hands.· Problem-solving skills.· Attention to detail.· Ability to work well with others.· Ability to maneuver through Basic computer programsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:· Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas.· Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work.· Basic record keeping practices.· Communicating effectively in oral and written forms.
