Cowboys Logistics is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and developing customer relationships that drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, competitive, and excited by the challenge of building new business in a fast-paced environment. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and outreach efforts Build relationships with prospective customers and key decision-makers Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities Understand customer transportation needs and present customized logistics solutions Manage opportunities through the sales process and support customer onboarding Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systems Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure customer success Meet and exceed individual business development goals and performance expectations Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Previous sales, business development, customer service, or customer-facing experience preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence initiating conversations with prospective customers Experience using CRM systems and sales tools Experience prospecting and generating new business opportunities Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain industries Experience building and maintaining customer relationships
