Job Description Summary: The Family Service Advisor (FSA) is an essential member of our ministry that takes a Christ-centered approach in assisting families with end of life planning for both funeral and cemetery needs. The FSA is a self-starter with excellent communications skills that develops rapport with the families we serve as they lead them through this sensitive process. Funeral and Cemetery Sales:●Serve families with care and compassion and develop a rapport with families with an emphasis on ministry●Educate and guide families in making informed decisions about advance planning of funeral and cemetery products and services●Present informational seminars, presentations and participate in community engagement on the benefits of preplanning●Provide information on products, develop quotes and effectively close sales●Develop prospects and obtain referrals
Minimum Qualifications: ●High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred●Previous working experience in a sales environment and having face to face contact with customers, with a strong focus on customer first orientation●Knowledge of processes, principles, and methods of presenting products and services●Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone●Proficient in the use of computers, software, and technology●Valid state issued driver’s license and insurance
Desired Qualifications: ●Knowledge of the Catholic Faith, rituals and traditions preferred●A Christ-centered heart for ministry●Dedicated to long-term employment●Record of accomplishment in networking, developing leads, contacting referrals, setting sales appointments and meeting monthly sales goals
Compensation and Benefits: ●Full-time Family Service Advisors receive a combination of annual salary (38,616.84) and commission with opportunity to earn bonuses.
