Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Scottsdale, AZ, with flexibility for some work from home. The CFO will lead all finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The CFO will partner with the executive team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies, support investment decisions, and optimize capital structure. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, implementing robust internal controls, and driving process improvements across the organization.
Qualifications: Strong foundation in Finance with demonstrated experience leading financial operations and strategy at a senior level. Expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range financial modeling. Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Experience in Financial Reporting, including management reports, board reporting, and regulatory or compliance-related filings. Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience building and developing finance and accounting teams. Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support growth and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification is strongly preferred. Experience in hybrid work environments and comfort using digital tools and systems to manage financial processes and collaborate remotely.
