About the role
3500 Square is seeking a Medical Coder III for remote work supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) with outpatient and ED coding expertise. You will assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and modifiers for outpatient encounters and ER visits, with potential inpatient work as needed. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in outpatient/ED coding, a relevant degree or certificate, and professional certification such as CPC/RHIT/CCS-P with related E/M knowledge. U.S. citizenship required for DHA eligibility.
