About the role

Mobile Car Crushing Crew Come travel from location to location and state to state with K&L Recycling's mobile car crushing crew. It is as neat as it sounds. Job details include: Family-owned company.401k with matching. Personal paid time off. Hotel paid. Per diem.
Primary responsibilities include: Manage small crew. Operate wheel loader safely. Pick up and clean up debris in customers' yards. Wrap crushed vehicles. Assist truck drivers with securing loads. Treat all customers, staff, drivers, and the general public with courtesy and respect. Check all lubricants and fluid levels on all equipment. Keep equipment clean and in proper working condition. Keep work area clean, organized, and clutter-free. Process, package, and/or bale material in a timely manner as per company specifications. Report all accidents, injuries, or incidents to supervisor immediately.
Required qualifications include: High school diploma. Minimum 1-5 years of work experience. Valid driver license with clean driving record (accepted by company insurance).Must be willing to travel. Exceptional time management. Ability to manage others. Customer service skills. Professional manner and strong ethical code. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Class A CDL is a plus.
Physical requirements include: Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time. Communicate with others and exchange accurate information. Ability to safely enter and exit all equipment.
