Schedule: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE (M-F, 8am 5pm with flexibility for machine QA)State License Needed: Washington Medix is recruiting a full-time Medical Physicist to join a renowned Cancer Institute team in downtown Spokane. You will work in an Apex-certified center alongside two Board Certified Radiation Oncologists, one Board Certified Medical Physicist, three Dosimetrists, and six Radiation Therapists. This clinic is high-volume (averaging 35 patients/day) and poised for growth, utilizing Varian True Beam Linear Accelerators, Eclipse TPS 18.0, Aria, and MiM software suites.
Essential Responsibilities: Overseeing ongoing QA/QM, machine calibrations, and Radiation Safety programs. Providing treatment planning and delivery support, including image registration and fusion. Managing requirements for Radioactive Materials and Radiation Emitting Device licenses. Providing technical training and support for Radiation Therapists and Dosimetrists.
