About the role
- Review and record documentation requirements for customer orders based on internal quality control instructions
- Compile and organize all required documentation throughout the production process, including test reports, inspection reports, and certificates of conformity
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all documentation prior to shipment
- Proactively follow up with internal teams to obtain missing or incomplete documentation
- Identify and escalate documentation issues, partnering with production and quality teams to resolve gaps and maintain delivery timelines
- Coordinate production stoppages or checkpoints that require customer or third-party inspector presence
- Interface with customer representatives and third-party inspectors during on-site inspections to ensure documentation compliance
- Maintain and update internal quality documentation databases and tracking systems
- Generate and distribute reports on a scheduled basis
- Support document control processes including archiving and retrieval of records
- Assist with additional quality and documentation-related tasks as needed
- Technical degree or relevant industry experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control and documentation within a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with technical documentation, compliance records, or manufacturing documentation packages
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently
