Description:
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist - Outpatient for a Critical Access Hospital, open to new grads and first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.
DetailsCritical Access Hospital setting covering outpatient, inpatient, and home visits with a swing bed program in a rural community
3 outpatient PT clinics with inpatient coverage as needed based on staffing
PT workload typically focused in one area (OP or IP) but flexibility required to cover other areas as needs shift
Shift availability for 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules, day shift 8:00-16:30
Hours may vary from 34-40 per week depending on census or caseload
Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
No on-call requirements
No floating to sister facilities required
Epic charting system preferred
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience required, new grads may be considered
BLS certification required
MT state license required if applicable
Skills in documentation, assessment, pain assessment, and patient/family education required
Strong professional skills and clinical knowledge needed
Additional Information:
Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence
Collaborative work with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and long-term care settings
Broad clinical exposure not typically found in larger, specialized health systems
Small-town community setting where clinicians build close relationships with patients
Located near Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, and multiple ski resorts, ideal for outdoor recreation enthusiasts
Open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience
