About the role
We're seeking an experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to support a large-scale digital accessibility compliance initiative. This role is ideal for a professional who combines accessibility expertise with project coordination, compliance monitoring, document remediation, testing, and stakeholder engagement. The Digital Accessibility Specialist will help ensure websites, digital documents, forms, and applications meet WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and PDF/UA accessibility standards while partnering with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors to drive accessibility best practices across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate day-to-day activities supporting a digital accessibility program. Monitor remediation efforts, project milestones, and compliance progress. Review accessibility deliverables and support vendor compliance efforts. Develop and maintain accessibility dashboards, metrics, and reporting. Create and maintain accessible document templates and workflows. Conduct accessibility testing using both automated and manual testing methods. Review VPATs, Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), and related documentation. Partner with stakeholders to establish SOPs, training materials, and accessibility best practices.
