About the role

An exciting contract opportunity awaits talented Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants interested in supporting student growth and communication development. This role provides leave coverage from November 2, 2026, through February 26, 2027. Work in dynamic elementary and middle school settings, dedicating 0.8 FTE to an elementary environment and 0.2 FTE to a middle school, both located conveniently near Santa Rosa, CA.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid California licensure as an SLP (CFY or CCC) or SLPAPrevious experience in school-based speech and language services is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility to work between elementary and middle school campuses
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Assess, document, and report on student performance, progress, and programming needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input toward team decision-making
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
