Overview:
On behalf of our client, Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc., we are seeking aDirector of Clinical Pharmacy Servicesto deliver innovative clinical and managed care programs for their clients nationwide. This position operates out of Correct Rx's headquarters in Hanover, Maryland.
Job Description:
The Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver a wide range of patient-directed pharmaceutical care and medication management initiatives. This position provides opportunities for professional growth and allows you to utilize your clinical leadership skills at every level within a dynamic, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities & DutiesClient & Business Relations: Build and maintain strong business and client relationships; participate in travel for client and site visits. Clinical Management: Evaluate, monitor, and enhance medication therapy and care planning; lead disease state management and high-acuity patient case reviews. Formulary & Governance: Chair Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) meetings, oversee formulary management, and perform complex drug utilization reviews and analysis. Consultation & Education: Provide drug information, patient education, and provider consultations/education. Operations & Compliance: Ensure regulatory adherence, support healthcare technology integration, and actively participate in ongoing administrative meetings.
Qualifications
Education: Pharm. D. required.
Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in Maryland is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate residency training or HIV therapy management experience preferred.
Certifications:
CPR certification required; Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is required. Key Characteristics for Success
