About the role: We’ve partnered with a power systems consulting firm helping utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and developers plan and operate a more reliable, decarbonizing grid. We’re hiring a US based Transmission Planning Engineer to run steady-state and/or dynamic studies across multiple North American markets and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Requirements: 5+ years in transmission planning, grid studies, or interconnection (consulting, utility, ISO/RTO, developer, etc.)Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering. Hands-on experience running studies with PSSE.Working knowledge of ISO/RTO processes and criteria across CAISO or WECC.Proficiency with Python for data handling, automation, and QA is a plus. Previous hands on experience running dynamic, steady-state, or stability studies. Excellent technical writing and client-facing communication skills. Please apply for further information!
