About the role
General Counsel, Court of Administrative HearingsCAH’s General Counsel serves as the court’s chief in-house counsel and is a member of the court’s Executive Team alongside the Chief Judge, Deputy Chief Judge, and Court Administrator. Leading the Court’s Office of General Counsel and supervising a team of in-house attorneys, the General Counsel guides the legal work that supports CAH’s judicial functions.
What You’ll Do:
Provide executive-level advice and litigation management for the court
Serve as the court’s Ethics Officer
Serve as (or supervise) the Data Practices Compliance Official
Act as a liaison to the Legislature, Governor’s Office, Executive Branch agencies, and other external stakeholders
Provide legal analysis across a wide range of specialized, complex areas
Advise on court policies, procedures, and data practices compliance and requests
Guide the development and review of proposed legislation and administrative rules
