We are currently seeking an SAP Finance Architect Director (Power & Utilities). This is a remote position with travel required. Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of advisory engagements, specific to SAP Finance and Controlling (GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, etc.), for a variety of clients including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews Lead SAP business processes mapping as a Solution Architect within the Power & Utilities industry Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle Identify and communicate findings to senior management and client personnel Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals Map out SAP business processes specifically for power and utility companies. Test the design and performance of technology controls across the business cycle. Supervise IT advisory staff, write client proposals, and help scope new business opportunities. Share project results and recommendations with senior client management.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of recent SAP work experience, including one full lifecycle SAP FICO implementation and and deep functional experience in the Power & Utilities industry Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is preferred Deep functional knowledge in the Power & Utilities sector. Strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level in order to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Willingness and ability to travel Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; the company will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
