About the role

Job Description: Photographers for Youth Sports Team and Individual Photos on Weekends at Parks around Southern California. You must have your own DSLR and flash and we prefer at least 1 year of experience in photography working with children, we can provide equipment but we do ask that you have your own gear as a backup. This is mostly weekends and you must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel at least 100 miles. If you can't work weekends, do not apply. This is posed photography, not action photography. We give you extensive training. You can see what we do at www. Sports Photo Station.com. You must be able to pass a background check. We are also looking for managers who have at least 1 year of experience photographing youth leagues, so if this applies to you, let us know. Pay starts at $20 per hour for new photographers or those who have not worked with high volume children's photography but experienced photographers who can lead shoots can start at $25.00 per hour. We also support photographers who want to do this as their own business (very lucrative) andyou can learn about that at www. Picture Day Business.com.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
