About the role

Sand Blaster Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. Were recruiting Sand Blasters to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Sand Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing surfaces using sandblasting equipment. Responsibilities of the Sand Blaster: Use sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal, wood, or other materials Set up and operate sandblasting machines, adjusting pressure and material flow as needed Select appropriate abrasive materials based on the surface and desired finish Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality and identify any defects Follow all safety procedures, including wearing protective gear and ensuring proper ventilation in work areas Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment, including cleaning and replacing parts as necessary

Sand Blaster Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferred Pay for Sand Blaster: $17.00 per hour.
