About the role

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Outbound File Technical Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for various outbound file layouts, collaborating with vendors and programmers to analyze file needs, write business requirements, create test plans, and ensure accurate deployment of files to production. Key responsibilities Analyze vendor file layouts and communicate requirements to programmers and vendors Create and execute test plans for outbound files, documenting results and ensuring accuracy Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and implement necessary programming changes Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in the insurance or TPA industry in a technical role involving EDI files Understanding of EDI terminology and file structures Experience with SQL and file comparison tools like UltraEdit Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
