About the role
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic wounds
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments
- Develop and follow individualized wound care treatment plans
- Manage diabetic foot ulcers and other complex wounds
- Monitor for infection, delayed healing, and other complications
- Educate patients on wound care, prevention, offloading, and follow-upCommunicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking patients
- Order and review appropriate labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license
- Current NP certification
- Wound care experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the physician and clinical team
