About the role
Portal Space Systems in Bothell, WA seeks a Staff/Principal Avionics Engineer to lead the avionics subsystem across the product lifecycle. You will own the flight computer, C&DH, data networks, and power electronics, implementing MOSA-compliant, software-defined avionics architecture based on IMA principles.
You will collaborate with flight software, GNC, systems, and mechanical engineering to define interfaces, drive reviews, and ensure reliable, radiation-tolerant design through qualification
