The Opportunity: The firm is seeking a Relationship Manager to join its Institutional Client Coverage team. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of strategic institutional clients while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement across the firm's investment, data, analytics, and market solutions offerings. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience covering institutional investors who enjoys building long-term relationships, solving complex client challenges, and operating in a consultative, commercially driven environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of large institutional client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor across investment and business stakeholders. Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on client retention, expansion, and long-term growth. Build senior-level relationships with investment professionals, portfolio managers, research teams, and executive decision-makers. Partner with internal product, research, and commercial teams to deliver solutions aligned with client objectives. Identify opportunities to increase adoption of the firm's products and services across existing accounts. Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and client priorities to deliver relevant insights and recommendations. Coordinate client meetings, presentations, reviews, and strategic planning discussions. Maintain a high level of client engagement while managing multiple complex relationships simultaneously.
Qualifications: 5-12 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Relationship Management, Consultant Relations, Institutional Distribution, Investor Relations, or Business Development. Experience covering institutional investors such as pensions, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, consultants, family offices, OCIOs, or asset managers. Strong understanding of investment markets and institutional portfolio management concepts across multiple asset classes. Demonstrated success managing senior-level client relationships and driving commercial outcomes. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex organizations. Experience within asset management, institutional consulting, investment technology, market data, analytics, or related financial services environments is strongly preferred.
