About the role
Plumbing & HVAC Project Manager The Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC projects from contract award through completion. This position oversees project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractors, field personnel, customer communication, and overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple commercial and industrial plumbing/HVAC projects simultaneously. Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material procurement. Coordinate with customers, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel. Monitor project costs, change orders, billing, and profitability. Provide direction and support to project foremen and field crews. Attend project meetings and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining quality and safety standards. Ensure proper project documentation, closeout, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience managing commercial and/or industrial plumbing and HVAC projects. Strong knowledge of construction practices, plans, specifications, and project scheduling. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
