A health services organization in Westchester County is seeking a PMR Physician to join their outpatient medical practice in White Plains on a Part-time basis. This role focuses on providing patient-centered physical medicine and rehabilitation care for a diverse outpatient population with musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions.
About the Opportunity
Schedule: Part-time (1 to 2 days per week)
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and rehabilitation needs
  • Provide care for patients with work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions
  • Perform or oversee electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG and NCV studies
  • Administer joint and soft tissue injections as part of outpatient treatment plans
  • Document range of motion findings and develop appropriate treatment recommendations
Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through ABPMRExperience with Joint and Soft Tissue Injections
  • Experience writing prescriptions
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in an Outpatient Musculoskeletal practice
  • Competency in performing or monitoring EMG and NCV testing
  • Experience documenting range of motion with a handheld goniometer
