Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Banking/Financial/Payment Services to join a high-performing QA team supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, SQL, and Java/Python, with expertise in modern automation frameworks and test design methodologies. This role requires working closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Karate, and other automation tools.
Perform API testing using Postman and Karate Framework.
Validate backend data using SQL queries.
Execute API integration and end-to-end testing across enterprise applications.
Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Ensure automation coverage, scalability, and maintainability of test suites.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities.
Required Skills:
Strong Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
Hands-on experience with Selenium Automation Frameworks.
Expertise in Karate Framework and Postman for API testing.
Strong SQL skills for database validation.
Programming experience in Java or Python.
Hands-on experience with API Integration Testing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
