Location: Columbus, NC 28722 Pay: $26.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift | Flexible Schedule (2040 hours/week)
Job Details: We are partnering with a mission-driven environmental services company to hire a Level II Biological Wastewater Operator in Columbus, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity offering flexibility in scheduling (2040 hours/week your choice!) and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in operating wastewater treatment systems efficiently, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving plant performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • NC Grade II Biological Wastewater Operator License (or higher is acceptable)
  • At least 1+ year of wastewater operations experience
  • Strong understanding of biological treatment processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems independently
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and reporting systems)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with scheduling or field service software
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and inspection
  • Work Schedule & PayFlexible hours: 2040 hours per week you chose if you want to work PT or FT
Pay: $26/hour
