Job Description: As a full-time Bus Driver at Bustronome, you will be responsible for safely and punctually transporting passengers along designated routes. Your daily responsibilities include preparing and inspecting your vehicle, checking safety equipment, following assigned routes, and complying with traffic laws and company procedures. You will welcome passengers, provide information when needed regarding stops, connections, and safety rules, and help maintain a pleasant and professional environment on board. You will also report incidents, perform basic monitoring of the bus's condition, and coordinate with the operations team. This is an on-site position based in Bogota, New Jersey.
Qualifications: Commercial vehicle driving skills: Proven ability to safely operate buses; previous truck-driving experience is a plus. CDL BRoad safety: Strong defensive-driving skills and a demonstrated commitment to following traffic laws and safety procedures. Driver training and procedures: Ability to participate in driver-training programs and consistently follow company policies and operating procedures. Customer service: Strong customer-service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with passengers from diverse backgrounds. Additional preferred qualifications: Valid driver's license appropriate for passenger transportation, clean driving record, ability to work flexible schedules, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to remain calm and professional in unexpected situations.
