About the role

Authority is building an industry intelligence platform that combines expert insight with data to improve online news coverage and forecasts about business, financial and economic outcomes. We are looking for a Heavy Industries Finance Advisor who is currently active in the United States market and has up-to-date market intelligence. This is a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.
What you will do: Provide concise written or recorded commentary on current developments, market shifts and likely business outcomes. Review articles, reports and forecast assumptions for accuracy, especially in capital expenditure and project finance, industrial cash flow, commodity and energy exposure, working capital, refinancing and manufacturing investment. Explain the practical implications for companies, investors and decision-makers. Contribute insight that may be featured in Authority content and major industry news outlets. When relevant, consider separate market advisory opportunities with organizations in our client base.
Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Currently operating in the United States market with up-to-date local market intelligence. Firsthand exposure to important financial, commercial or investment decisions in this field. Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely. A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience. Engagement detailsIndependent consulting contract. Remote within the United States. Up to 2 paid consulting hours per month. Flexible assignments, primarily short commentary and occasional calls. Additional advisory work may be offered separately based on fit and client demand.
