Insurance Sales Specialist (Remote, US) – AI-Powered Insurance BrokerageI'm recruiting on behalf of a pre-seed, San Francisco-based, AI-powered insurance brokerage. They have automated the back office of a traditional brokerage and are already handling $1M+ in premium. They are growing fast and are on track for roughly $1M ARR within about three months.
The role:
You will convert warm inbound leads into bound policies by phone. Every day, people start quotes on the company's sites and don't finish, need more information, or need guiding toward a compliant product. You call them, move the quote forward and bind it through the platform. There is no admin work and no CRM data entry, because it is all automated. You spend your time talking to warm leads, not cold calling.
What you'll do:
- Call and convert warm inbound quote-starters into bound policies
- Follow up on missing information and guide customers to compliant, best-fit products
- Move quotes through the platform to bind
- Own your accounts and help improve workflows as more of the process is automated
What we're looking for:
- Licensed P&C insurance broker or rep (CISR preferred)1 to 5 years of experience and a proven closer of warm inbound leads
- Familiar with commercial and personal lines: applications, quotes, certificates, endorsements and renewals
- Experience with carrier portals or agency software
- Native or fluent English with an excellent, warm and trustworthy phone presence
- Detail-oriented, with a good eye for missing information, duplicates and inconsistencies
- Comfortable using AI tools and working in a fast-moving startup

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
