Heat Treat Set Up Technician We are seeking a heat treat set up technician for an automotive components manufacturing plant in Walesboro Indiana! A leading manufacturer of automotive components, focused on producing high-quality drive shafts for major vehicle manufacturers. The Walesboro facility emphasizes precision, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting the local community and workforce. Industry standard insurance, retirement, etc. Company provided PPE!Direct hire position$ 23.75 / annually Full Time work available Various shifts available Maintains cycle process integrity with the direction of the production supervisor Works with support department to ensure tools, machines and processes are optimized Recommends and implements changes and improvements to cycles, processes and procedures to maintain schedules and quality parts Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production cycles and procedures 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with the operation of CNC equipment Familiarity of metrics, blueprint reading, micrometers, calipers, Rockwell and induction preferred Prior experience with set-up of gauging and programmable automation helpful Prior technical training desired Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
